Purpose of the role:
As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for the company's long-term goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience in high volume and specialised recruitment and strong work plan development and progress oversight skills. They will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management channels regularly, ensuring the innovation we seek is being achieved.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Plan and implement the company 's talent acquisition strategy
- Develop the company's policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing
- Conduct sourcing activities to fill open positions
- Perform analysis of organisational development and anticipate future employment needs
- Designing and managing recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)
- Reviews employment applications and background check reports
- Build a strong employer brand to attract the suitable candidates
- Proactively build applicant pipelines to meet current and future business needs
- Strategically source potential hires from diverse backgrounds
- Promote staff retention through various incentive programs and regular catchups
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
- Administer and keep a record of all hiring paperwork for new employees
- Ensure compliance for all candidates; Industry relevant qualifications and licences
- Generate monthly reports for the company's leadership team about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives and progress
- Communicate regularly with the Operations team to get a clear view of the company's hiring needs and organisational goals
- Proactively seek market intelligence to gain a competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies.
- Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of solid background and experience in recruitment
- Bachelor's degree/ diploma in human resources or similar
- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- A positive, "can do" attitude
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Strong written, presentation skills and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Contract

Salary: From $75,000.00 per year
