We are committed to reducing waste and minimizing our impact on the environment. As part of our mission, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Recycling Facility Pickers.
As a Recycling Facility Picker, your primary role will be to remove waste from a conveyor belt to ensure the efficient separation and recycling of materials. Ancillary tasks include plant and equipment maintenance. No prior experience is required; we are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our mission.
To be considered for this role candidates must have:
- Valid driver's license
- White Card
- Solid understanding of English
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
- Ability to work 5 days per week (06:45am - 04:00pm)
- Be available to start straight away
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove non-recyclable items from the conveyor belt.
- Separate unsuitable materials
- Ensure the smooth flow of recyclables for processing.
- Assist with general yard maintenance and organization.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
In addition to conveyor belt sorting, the role may encompass various miscellaneous tasks around the yard. This is an entry level position with opportunities for future growth, training and development.
