About the Role
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is seeking to appoint an experienced academic with demonstrated innovation and commitment to nursing education for appointment.
In this position you will make contributions to the leadership of academic activities within the School, such as participating in development, implementation and delivery of teaching and learning in both ungraduated and post graduate programs. You will also contribute to the School’s governance roles and engage in activities.
The positions will be based at Parramatta South campus, with the expectation of travel to other campuses where required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
You must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Division 1 Registered Nurse in Australia and have expertise and experience in nurse education in university-based programs.
You will have outstanding skills and qualities in research and education delivery with a focus on quality teaching, curriculum development and student engagement, playing a major role in teaching within the undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs.
For appointment at Level B, you must have recently completed a PhD qualification or be in advanced stage of completion of a PhD in Nursing or a related area, as well as relevant experience.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $135,528 to $159,922 p.a. (comprising Salary of $114,523 to $135,230 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
