The position
Operate and monitor refinery processes and raw materials
Start up and shut down processes of the refinery and pretreatment operations
Forklift operations
Interpret process trends, optimize operation performance, troubleshooting and mitigating foreseen issues
Complete paperwork, data entry and records
Your skills and experience
Proficient in Maths and English
Mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated computer literacy
First Aid Certificate
Desired skills and experiences
Familiar with high pressure and high temperature operations, understanding of mechanical equipment, for example, heat exchangers, pumping arrangements, distillation, and tank farm management
Experience in handling chemicals
Boiler licence
Forklift License
Qualification in the mechanical field
