About the Role:
The Gippsland CASA REFOCUS service is an early intervention program for children and adolescents (up to 18 years) with harmful sexual behaviors, funded by the Department of Families, Fairness, and Housing. The role of a REFOCUS Counsellor/Advocate involves providing trauma-informed counseling, collaborating with a diverse team to create an inclusive atmosphere, advocating for clients within the service system, and maintaining accurate and confidential records with the highest ethical standards.
Location: Full-time role based in the Multidisciplinary Centre, Morwell.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
- 2 years of counselling experience.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
