Our Newman team are looking for Refrigerant Technicians for their Pilbara sites.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance supervisor, the Refrigeration Technician will undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
As a Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technician, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Undertake preventative maintenance inspections of plant and equipment
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process
- Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation
- Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour
- Carry out system generated on and offline inspections
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Trade Qualification is essential
- Experience with Daikin Split and cassette systems
- Valid Australian C Class Driver's Licence is essential
- ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence is essential
- WA Restricted Electrical Licence is essential
- Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket are desirable
- Computer Literacy to use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word are desirable
- A proven track record of safety management
- Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
