We’re in search of a proficient Refrigeration Mechanic with dual trade capabilities to handle refrigeration and air conditioning repairs, maintenance, installations and associated task at our Beverley Mine site. This is a permanent role operates on a 8:6 Roster and is available for an immediate start. Joining us presents excellent chance to thrive in a cohesive, teamwork -driven atmosphere. Duties include, however not limited to the following:
- Undertake all site refrigeration and air-conditioning repairs, maintenance and installations activities including preventative maintenance tasks.
- Size, disassemble, assemble, install, maintain, test and repair components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges and copper lines for refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled water.
- Ensure all equipment and tools in your care, custody or control is properly maintained and kept in a safe working condition.
- Ensure all equipment, spare parts and consumables are requested in a timely manner.
- Undertake testing and refrigerant handling documentation and logging in accordance with established procedures.
- Plan layouts of wiring, refrigerant piping and installs wiring, conduit, piping and electrical apparatus in buildings and structures.
- Maintain and review building ventilation systems and requirements.
- Undertake any other work as directed.
- Trade qualifications as a Refrigeration Mechanic;
- Trade qualifications as an "B" Class Restricted Electrician.
- Trade qualifications as an "A" Class Electrician;
- Automotive refrigeration qualification;
- First Aid Certificate.
- Flammable Refrigerant training.
- EWP / Scissor Lift / Working at Heights.
- Forklift Licence.
