As an industry leader and employer of choice, we're Made for More.About the roleWesTrac is seeking an experienced and team orientated Branch Supervisor to join our team based in Cobar.Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Branch Supervisor is accountable for the ownership of the customer experience provided by the branch to ensure effective management of all matters between the customer and the branch. This includes the safety and management of the branch team members, customer service and support provisions, branch performance, invoice management and ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement requirements are adhered.This is a permenant full-time role, working Monday - Friday, 10-hour days.Key Responsibilities
- Represent WesTrac as the single point of contact for our customers
- Establish and maintain an effective customer relationship that promotes WesTrac as the service provider of choice
- Communicate departmental objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to team members to ensure they are aware of and understand expectations and their contribution to achieve the objectives
- Perform appropriate risk assessment and ensure all accidents/near miss incidents/hazards are submitted as per WesTrac policy
- Provide leadership to team members, ensuring appropriate development opportunities are identified and provided as deemed appropriate
- Review team member performance through regular meetings, formal performance reviews and coaching including acknowledging performance appropriately with constructive feedback and identification of areas for improvement
- Act as an internal point of escalation for all branch concerns and resolve workshop issues as they are raised within approval levels
- Utilise and embed the Caterpillar Production System (CPS) methodology into the branch and utilise KPI boards to unify the team and provide improvement opportunities
- Proactively identify processes within the store/wider department that would benefit from improvements and recommend the appropriate action
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach and lead a cohesive team
- Analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer dispute
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate computer skills and SAP experience (desirable)
- Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
