We are seeking a senior air conditioning/refrigeration service technician for an immediate start.
Role
The key function of the role is to carry out installation and service breakdown work on mainly commercial and industrial, medium sized to large refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Reporting to the business owner, you'll be a vital member of the team.
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 year’s post trade experience carrying out installation and service of air conditioning and refrigeration systems in a minimum of domestic and commercial applications.
That background will have equipped you with exemplary fault finding and preventative maintenance skills, coupled with the ability and aptitude to deal with ancillary mechanical and electrical equipment associated with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
You must possess above average organisational skills, to the extent that you can work autonomously and effectively without constant supervision. A reliable, honest work ethic and a positive team player attitude are also essential personal attributes. Attention to detail and timely completion of service reports is essential.
This position will also involve participation in the on-call roster and overtime as required.
The successful candidates will need:
- ARC licence
- Dept Fair Trading Supervisors Licence
- A current Australian driver's license
- White Card
Remuneration
The hourly rate on offer will easily match market rates and is negotiable based on the experience and capability of the successful candidates. A company vehicle, mobile phone and uniforms complete a generous total package.
