Refrigeration Technician - Infrastructure

Our Opportunity Work Location: Christmas Creek Fortescue's Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples. Roster: 7D7R ex Perth, Busselton, Karratha and Broome Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, this position is responsible to deliver safe, high-quality planned and reactive maintenance to support the effective operation of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning assets. Infrastructure Services maintains assets across the entire mine site operation and camp facilities including, but not limited to: Accommodation buildings, offices, workshops, MAL Laboratories, fuel storage facilites, waste and potable water treatment plants as well as our newly built hydrogen plants. Key Responsibilities Relevant experience in mining or heavy industry Experience with air conditioning split systems Experience with air-conditioning, closed-circuit water chillers, ice machines etc, fault finding and repairs as well as replacement of said machinery Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP operating system Demonstrated ability to identify, trouble shoot and repair plant (HVAC Systems, Complex HVAC Systems) Knowledge of applicable legislations, Australian Standards and ARCTICK codes of conduct Qualifications and Experience MEM30205 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning)) Current West Australian Restricted Electrical License Senior first aid / CPR WA Class C Driver's Licence Current Refrigerant Handling License. RAC01 - Full Refrigeration and Air Conditioning License Hydrocarbon refrigerant training.
