About the opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Administrator to join our thriving business. We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our Darwin Laboratory Team. Reporting to the General Manager - NT/NTH QLD and the Chief Administrative Officer; you’ll be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality administration support to staff, clients and service providers within the Northern Territory and Northern Queensland Region. This is a full-time position and will be located in our Darwin Laboratory. 

A typical day might look like this;

  • Undertaking timesheet entry for the region, including report checking and monitoring for payroll compliance issues; 
  • Undertaking site mobilisations for a range of different clients' including scheduling inductions, travel and medical bookings to meet site entry requirements; 
  • Providing financial assistance including invoicing, purchase orders, accounts payable and receivable support and rostering; 
  • Ensuring up to date employee records whilst protecting confidential information and intellectual property;
  • Mental Health and Return to Work co-ordination;
  • General administration duties such as answering phone, filing, contracts and compliance with ASL;
  • Support scheduling for the region including the organisation of freight of samples and collate reports for laboratories in a timely manner to present to the quality manager;
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant authorities;
  • Daily booking of laboratory testing jobs;
  • Data entry of testing results, including identifying errors with manual input data;
  • Assist and ensure compliance with laboratory monthly KPI's.

About you

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have;

  • Administration experience within a medium to large stakeholder base
  • Exposure to timesheet entry/rostering
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously with little direction/supervision
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Word) and the ability to pick up new systems easily; and
  • Great time management skills to manage competing priorities and to meet critical deadlines.

Relevant certifications in administration would be advantageous.
