About the role:

The Systems Administrator supports business needs by providing technology solutions to end users through implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and IT infrastructure. This includes a focus on innovation, compliance, enhancing security practices to ensure IT systems and infrastructure quality, security, and continuous service.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Azure, Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti systems.
  • Knowledge of Intune, autopilot, application packaging, and distribution.
  • Proficiency in Powershell for scripting, task automation and configuration management.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in information systems, or a minimum of three (3) years practical experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation, organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal and negotiation and reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse operational systems and processes to support continuous improvement and drive innovation.
  • Current NT C class Driver’s License.
  • The ability to work flexible hours and travel in light aircraft and/or unsealed roads to remote communities.

It would be desirable if you also possessed:

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
  • Microsoft and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications
  • Previous experience working or living within an Indigenous setting and ability to demonstrate a high level of cross-cultural awareness in the workplace.
  • Awareness of issues affecting Indigenous people to ensure effective participation in a cross-cultural environment.

All employment with EARC is subject to the successful completion of a Criminal History Check and the ability to obtain a Working with Children Clearance. Criminal history will not exclude an applicant unless it is relevant to the position.

What you'll get in return:

Full Time Permanent employment.

Level 7 - Salary $95,275 - $101,077 (excluding super and locality allowance) with annual wage increase opportunities built into our EBA.

You will also benefit from 6 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading.
