Follow the link to find out what its like to live, work and play in our wonderful region:About the Role & Team:Our ACAS/RAS team is a multidisciplinary team based at the Centre for Older Persons Health in Shepparton. We provide a home assessment and/or a comprehensive Assessment Service to the 65+ population or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50+ living in the Local Government Area of Greater Shepparton. ACAS also provide a comprehensive Assessment Service to the 65+ population or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50+ living in the Local Government Areas of Moira, Strathbogie, Mitchell & Murrindindi.Our ACAS/RAS team are looking for a dynamic person to join our high functioning team. The successful applicant will be provided with extensive training and will be responsible for the provision of a home support assessment to the 65+ population or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 50+ living in the Local Government Area of Greater Shepparton and have excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills. You will be working with a very supportive team and may have future opportunities to be trained as an ACAS assessment clinician. There is also the possibility of this becoming an ongoing position.The successful applicant will have:
- Current registration with APHRA as a Registered Nurse, Division 1 or Enrolled Nurse OR as a Welfare worker - a minimum Certificate IV in an appropriate Health and/or Human Services field, or extensive relevant experience.
- Experience in the provision of assessment
- High level computer skills
