SalaryReporting to the Regional Category Head in our Group Procurement & Sustainability function, this role provides end to end leadership and governance over the Category management of Asahi's Procurement & Sustainability requirements.
- To deliver sourcing activities whilst proposing innovative ways to achieve better outcome for Asahi Beverages
- Cost reduction and delivery of budgeted savings
- Improved quality and service level from the supplier base
- Innovation on process/systems to make Asahi Beverages more competitive
- Design and deploy a new category management framework that supports all categories. This will involve strategic thinking, spend analysis, market intel & tactical issue/dispute resolution.
- Partnering with key stakeholders to understand internal business requirements and determine and develop best sourcing and category management strategy
- Responsibility for the end to end strategic sourcing activity including negotiations, project management and approval of recommendations
- Manage category risk in partnership with the business including maintaining business continuity plans (BCPs)
You will be open minded, an effective relationship builder, commercially oriented and be able to move at pace in an ever changing environment.
Your experience in CAPEX/Engineering within an FMCG environment will be highly regarded along with the following;
- A demonstrated achievement of improvements within an FMCG supply chain environment with a high analytical component
- Extensive SAP supply chain experience in transactional and analytical tools
- Demonstrated management of customer / supplier relationships
- Experience with continuous improvement programs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- An understanding of change management practices
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Expert knowledge in procurement and continuous improvement practices
- Well-developed people leadership, influencing and time management skills
