Regional Cricket Manager - Metropolitan North

Are you passionate about leadership and driving cricket participation? We're looking for someone just like you to join our team!

About the Role

Cricket is a game for everyone - it's fun, exciting, and action-packed! As the Regional Cricket Manager, you'll lead a small team in the metropolitan north region, helping kids aged 5-12 enjoy the game to the fullest. You'll work closely with community stakeholders to create brilliant experiences in clubs and programs throughout the area. Located at the vibrant WACA Ground, you'll report to the Area Manager Metro.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team to drive participation growth and positive experiences for kids aged 5-12, with a focus on inclusion and diversity.
  • Use data and insights to implement targeted strategies for achieving our objectives.
  • Increase cricket's reach and impact in communities with innovative approaches.
  • Foster strong relationships with schools and communities to enhance engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with other WA Cricket departments and the wider Perth Area Team.
  • Lead a high-performing team and ensure outcomes are met.
  • Support budget management and build relationships with government authorities.
  • Utilize the Women's and Men's BBL to boost participation.

About You

To excel in this role, you'll need:

Essential

  • Capacity to lead, inspire, and nurture teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Aptitude for strategic thinking and planning
  • Established history of achieving successful outcomes and delivering results
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on clear and effective messaging.
  • A grasps of trends in community sport development and participation
  • Proficiency in computer skills

Desirable

  • Sounds knowledge of the WA Community cricket sector.
  • Commercial acumen.
