The Opportunity:
As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations for 10 branches turning over between 2.5 - 10 million annually. Your role will involve leading and coaching your team to achieve high performance and meet business objectives. A strong understanding of profit and loss is essential, as you will leverage this knowledge to empower your team to take full ownership of their branches and budgets. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving financial success and operational excellence within your region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor your team across 10 branches to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations
- Drive sales growth and profitability through strategic planning, effective leadership, and innovative initiatives
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and empowerment among store teams
- Ensure inventory is effectively managed throughout the Region to provide the best availability in the industry, in conjunction with the state inventory team
- Develop the annual profit plan, oversee branch reports to identify trends and recommend actions, and monitor cost control to maintain budgeted sales and margins
- Actively demonstrate safe work processes and behaviours, and ensure these are followed by all employees and contractors
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years in a leadership role, with proven experience managing profit and loss statements and budgets, stock management systems, cash handling and financial transaction management
- A background in FMCG retail management, franchisee or exposure to managing multiple sites across a high volume business
- Ability to coach, lead, motivate, develop leaders and high-performance teams and inspire results through others
- Build and maintain effective relationships across cross-functional groups
- Quarterly travel, regionally, will be required in this role
