We have been engaged by a leading multi-national Supply Chain organization to identify an experienced Regional Supply Chain Manager - FMCG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the S&OP process.
- Develop and execute supply and production plans to meet customer demand, inventory targets, and financial goals.
- Manage the Supply Chain team (Demand Planner, Logistics Coordinator, Project Coordinator/Quality Officer), develop talent, and provide direction and support to ensure that the team meets organizational targets and goals.
- Analyse Supply Chain data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Actively negotiate with all overseas suppliers and vendors to improve cost and profit margins.
- Working closely with the product development team to support the delivery of new products, and ensure product quality is maintained in production through quality management.
- Working closely with factories and Logistics Coordinator to expedite urgent orders.
- Coordinating with the Quality Officer and third-party product quality inspection vendor.
- Resolving QC issues, arranging rework or replacement of affected inventory, and holding manufacturing partners accountable to the agreed specifications.
- Maintaining a database of product information, and communicating with stakeholders regarding rolling changes and pricing updates.
- Working collaboratively with the Demand Planner and Finance Team to ensure inventory purchases maximize sales opportunities within set company budgets.
- Regularly assessing Supply Chain performance to identify and implement improvements and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- A proven track record of 7+ years in Supply Chain management, specifically in the custom manufacturing industry.
- Proactive manner demonstrating strong commercial aptitude and interpersonal skills.
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, identify work priorities in a constantly changing environment.
