We pride ourselves on our commitment to our employees, who we aim to support in every aspect of their roles.About the position We are seeking a full time Regional Operational Services Manager to lead our northern precinct team. The precinct includes two residential aged care facilities; The Manor Complex at Kings Meadows, and Rubicon Grove at Port Sorell.We require a dynamic individual that prioritises effective communication, leadership and collaboration within teams. It is essential that you are an experienced leader who has had managerial roles in aged care, hospitality or other customer service focused organisations. A solid understanding and experience of the Aged Care Quality Standards would be ideal, but not essential.The Regional Operational Services Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the precinct ensuring the delivery of the highest quality care. Determining and implementing strategic directions for the precinct is another key responsibility.We care deeply about our residents, our staff and the jobs we do each day. The role includes but is not limited to: Providing strategic and operational leadership to deliver cost effective solutions to maintain the highest standard of care for our consumers / clients. Overseeing the day-to-day management of the facilities listed above including, hospitality, leisure and lifestyle, administration, rostering, consumer experience, additional services, home care and independent living units. Actively pursue optimal facility occupancy through regular contact with referrers. Managing resources, supplies, operational cost within the agreed financial parameters. Purposeful focus and management of AN-ACC (Australian National Aged Care Classification), maximising opportunities as they arise. Support compliance with accreditation standards, industry code of practice and general expectations. Actively building and maintaining networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to growth our services and support to the community.The Regional Operational Services Manager will work closely and collaboratively with the Regional Clinical Services Manager. What you bring to the role: Tertiary qualifications in business, management, health or equivalent Demonstrated experience as a facility or operations manager, including goal setting, decision making and people management skills. Proven ability to achieve results and meet key targets. Highly developed communication, representation, conflict resolution and negotiation skills Highly developed written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, educate, and provide appropriate performance management of the operations team. Demonstrated IT knowledge including experience with all Microsoft Office applications, and clinical record systems desirable. Demonstrated understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyse and interpret data to make informed budgetary decisions.What you get in return: Generous salary and vehicle package.
