We are hiring immediately Regional Procurement Manager - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

This is an exciting and dynamic leadership role that provides the opportunity to make a significant impact to Aggreko in Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. As a key player in the global procurement team, you will lead the execution of global category strategies and regional sourcing activities to drive cost savings and maximize value. Responsibilities

  • Build crucial partnerships with stakeholders to facilitate the formulation and execution of a plan for developing renewable energy supply chains. This involves actively assisting in the implementation of initiatives deemed highly important and strategically valuable.
  • Create and oversee a high performing team, consisting of Procurement Managers, Procurement Leads, and Procurement Specialists. This involves establishing well-defined roles, duties, and performance standards..
  • Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of sourcing plans that maximize the use of category suppliers and ensure uniform standards across vendors. You will manage stakeholders and procurement teams to ensure that both direct and indirect procurement needs are met, including S2C, R2P, contract management, SRM and regional project mobilization. You will need to assess the trade-offs between regional buying requirements and category initiatives to ensure optimal outcome.
  • Responsible for regional compliance to procurement process and policies, including the handoffs to the business and BPO, working with group procurement to track and manage this including reporting at key governance forums, acting as an escalation point and putting in place corrective actions to overcome non-compliance.
  • Provide the regional business and category procurement teams with concise, insightful, and relevant procurement data and KPI's to drive appropriate decision making and cost assessments. Drive accuracy of master data on the regional suppliers, contracts & materials supported by the regional team.
  • Deliver with a continuous improvement mindset by recommending new and innovative ways (embedding best practice) of delivering Regional Procurement activities, including implementation of new software & systems and associated training.

Key performance indicators

  • Meeting customer commitments: on time provision of procurement services (including BPO) and delivery of goods and/or services.
  • Development of strategic supplier relationships and framework commercial terms to drive higher performance standards in the supply chain.
  • Delivery of cost targets and project(s) to budget.
  • Mitigated / managed supply chain and commercial risk.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in a professional procurement role, preferably within a multi-national organization, with experience in a procurement leadership role (including people management).
  • Proven track record of implementing procurement strategies and delivering value through the associated sourcing activities, directly and through others.
  • Demonstrable understanding of key suppliers and supply market dynamics.
  • Sound understanding of supply chain and commercial risk management including experience of contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Proactively communicator able to engage stakeholders.
  • High levels of integrity and accountability.
