SalaryWe are looking for a Regional Project Supply Specialist. This is a temporary full-time position until December 2024, with the possibility to be extended until 2025. The role will be based in Brisbane CBD.As a Regional Project Supply Specialist, you will plan and manage procurement activities for capital projects, ensuring alignment with our Supply Chain strategies and best practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement strategies and plans for expansion, replacement, and ongoing projects.
- Align procurement strategies with Group and Business Units.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand and manage project budgets.
- Participate in project review meetings and tender evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and market experts to generate procurement ideas.
- Collect and analyze data to support strategic sourcing and identify risks and opportunities.
- Assist in sourcing, tendering, and negotiation for project procurement.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Or Postgraduate degree in a commercial-related field.
- Experience in Project Supply management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and successful project delivery track record.
- Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Knowledge in sourcing, contracts management, supplier management, market research, and negotiation.
- Understanding of project management principles.
- Advanced understanding and application to medium projects.
- Ability to plan and implement engagement and communication plans.
- Regional travel and collaboration across time zones.
