This position will be based at Enoggera, Brisbane, QLD.

About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced all-rounder Supply Chain Specialist, to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter and partner fleets. This position will work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders, applying your technical Supply Chain expertise to achieve objectives that drive innovation and Supply Chain improvements with the vision to maintain aircraft availability, as well as contribute to the development of our future strategies. As a skilled Supply Chain Specialist, you will apply your knowledge and experience to provide the following services for the Apache fleet:
- Provide support to the Supply Chain Manager
- Facilitate supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
- Develop and participate in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program, Australian Industry Capability and commodity strategies
- Analyse and monitor Supply Chain quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks and opportunities
- Develop mitigation plans, identify and participate in supplier and business improvement activities
- Platform health performance reporting (demand satisfaction/asset readiness etc)
- Manage and monitor Supply Customer Accounts, program stocktaking and assurance programs
- Identify and resolve customer Supply Chain issues and discrepancies
- Logistics support administration and manage Logistics system IT accesses/authorities
- Maintain logistics information management system integrity
- Be an integral part of the Apache capability
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Supply Chain management
- Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
- A superior knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual
- Knowledge of exporting/importing practices and regulations
- Auditing Experience and/or Qualifications
- The ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between key internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project level
