Description
Reporting into the National Quality Manager the Regional Quality Manager holds responsibility for QC and QA to ISO9001 standards across Victoria and Tasmania. You will be accountable for QA and QC across 3 sites responsible for maintenance of the QMS ISO9001 accreditation and product licensing. You will lead quality for product release, non-conformance management, corrective/preventive actions, and internal quality audits across the sites. With a focus on compliance and team development you will:
- Be QMS lead for all regional sites leading QMS processes establishment, implementation, maintenance, audit, and improvement to ISO9001
- Ensure the execution of Inspection & Testing plans and the adequacy of the QC Laboratories to support validation of quality specifications/requirements for regional tenders and product releases
- Provide quality related technical support to customers
- Lead and develop the Zero Harm SHE culture through proactive safety leadership and workforce engagement, ensuring a safety first culture to world class standards.
You are a Quality Manager with a breadth of experience leading teams across QA and QC within building products, plastics, industrial packaging or similar manufacturing environments. You have a strength in QMS, Internal Audits (ISO9001), non conformance resolution and product testing and have several years leading a small team. Your technical experience will ideally be complemented by a relevant degree in a related field.
