Regional Sales Manager - Mining (Qld)

This is an exciting role with a leading company in the industrial distribution industry. On offer is a new role as a Regional Sales Manager to lead and enhance mining sales operations in Queensland and offshore.

This role involves adding leadership to an existing team of Business Development Managers and Key Account Executives, driving synergy and collaboration to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Synergy and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment within the sales team, promoting synergy and effective teamwork to drive sales success.
• Sales Leadership: Implement and achieve sales strategies and quotas in alignment with senior leadership directives.
• Team Development: Coach and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring career growth and succession planning.
• Strategic Implementation: Oversee the execution of external sales strategies, focusing on sales processes, CRM, and reporting.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and respond to market opportunities and threats, working to increase market share.
• Business Development: Contribute to the development of professional business cases and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in similar roles, particularly sales roles within the mining sector
• Strong knowledge of products and services in the mining sector.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a valid Australian driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel.

IT Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint), HRIS, eCall, and eCos.

Role Requirements:
The role has an all of QLD remit, as such, there will be a degree of travel expected in this role.
