Form of workDue to exciting growth in the business, CJD Equipment requires the services of an experienced Regional Sales Manager to complement a highly successful sales team operating throughout Tasmania. This role will ideally be based in our Launceston branch, however for the right applicant, could be based in Hobart or Burnie, with regular visits to regional areas of Tasmania.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will see you responsible for managing our growing customer base, providing support, knowledge, up-to-date information and ongoing sales of Volvo CE and SDLG Equipment.
Duties:
- Implement marketing plans & key accounts to maximise sales opportunities within your nominated metro & regional area
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers.
- Welcome new clients to the CJD customer team.
- Submit all sales-related information into relevant company databases e.g. Synergy, DMS
- Work positively with all internal teams, departments and levels, ensuring clear communication and timekeeping are maintained
To be successful in the role you will need to:
- Demonstrate previous sales experience in a similar environment
- Have a practical understanding of the earthmoving industry in general
- Ability to monitor your success in an autonomous environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Be passionate about the construction industry
- Able to travel intra-state as and when required
- Have sound prospecting, negotiating and closing skills
- A solid understanding of CE machine specifications and working applications gained through industry experience
- Must have a current Driver’s Licence
- Must present with a professional and friendly image with the ability to adapt to different situations.
