MIDDAY ON TUESDAY, 28 MAY 2024Job DescriptionUnder the direction (AWU Level 4) or general direction (AWU Level 5) of the Regional Training Coordinator:

  • Assists with (AWU Level 4) or participates in (AWU Level 5) the coordination, development, implementation and assessment of operational training programs for Conservation Employees, Mentored and Aboriginal Training and Employment Scheme employees and salaried staff and contractors where appropriate, across the division, working in various regions across the State, as required.
  • Maintains operational training records of competency for individual employee development, including the recognition of prior learning where appropriate.
Selection CriteriaApplicants should prepare a covering letter addressing the following three (3) criteria in no more than two (2) pages. * Demonstrated experience (AWU Level 5) or demonstrated ability (AWU Level 4) in the supervision of others, prioritising work, identifying training needs and conducting training as appropriate, and ensuring competence and best practice quality control measures are achieved.
  • Proven knowledge and experience (AWU Level 5) or proven knowledge (AWU Level 4) in managing projects and programs designed to identify and resolve training needs, recognise prior learning and facilitate the delivery of appropriate training.
  • Evidence of ability to negotiate with a range of stakeholders including supervisors, management and training providers, to facilitate the delivery of appropriate training to meet identified operational need, desirable at AWU Level 4.
