We are seeking experienced Theatre Scrub/Scout nurses to support our team in the continuous delivery of high-quality care.
About Kawana Private Hospital
Kawana Private Hospital is an accredited multi-disciplinary hospital that provides four operating theatres to offer a broad range of surgical services for all patients. Our modern surgical facility includes a ward for patients who require a longer stay to recover. We ensure best practice standards through continuous improvement and regular staff education and prioritise a positive work/ life balance for all staff. The facility is open Monday to Friday and hours may vary.
We are seeking experienced Registered or Enrolled nurse with Ophthalmology experience to join our team as a scrub/scout on a permanent part time basis.
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience in scrubbing and scouting
- Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
- The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care
- Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices

- Demonstrated commitment to the Nursing and Midwifery Professional Standards, Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct and other relevant professional standards such as ACORN
- Able to work the occasional weekend
Essential criteria
- Current AHPRA nursing registration
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
- Ophthalmology experience preferred
- Availability across all shifts
