The Role:
Northern Health have multiple exciting opportunities for Radiology Nurses to join the team at Northern Health, with Northern Imaging Victoria. This role requires Nursing staff to work collaboratively with Imaging Staff and Radiologists to undertake imaging procedures and provide care to patients within the Radiology department.
Experience in a Public Radiology department is preferred but not essential, training and support will be provided to succesful candidates.
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse qualification.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Post graduate exposure to radiology or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels within internal and external stakeholders.
  • Physical ability to perform all examinations and normal associated tasks (including manual handling skills and experience).
  • Skills to act as an appropriate and effective role model and promote a culture and supporting practices that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated professional behaviour and interactions with patients/clients and employees.
  • Computer literacy, including RIS-PACS experience, use and understanding.
  • Demonstrated attitude of an openness to learn, grow and change.
