The facility includes 4 birthing suites, 26 bed maternity ward and 4 cot special care nursery
We are currently seeking Full Time/Part Time Registered Midwives and Registered Nurses

- Provide high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groups.
- Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate midwifery/nursing care in collaboration with women, newborns, their families, and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
- Supervise, direct, guide junior midwives/nurses and undergraduate students in provision of care.
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
- Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
- The ability to act in a professional manner at all times.
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant Midwifery/Nursing Qualification and current AHPRA Registration.
- Recent Midwifery/Nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills.
- Demonstrated risk management and WHS
- Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs.
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
