About the role
Our Women and Children’s Health Service provides exceptional family centred care in well-supported environments.
Box Hill Hospital provides care for in excess of 2700 women and families per year whilst the Angliss Hospital cares for approximately 2500 women and families. Eastern Health is known for innovation and our maternity service proudly supports water birthing and Midwifery Group Practice.
You will join a professional, multidisciplinary team who partner to provide exceptional care for our patients. With a strong commitment to research, learning and teaching, we offer professional development, leadership opportunities, and the space to grow your career.
Your roster will rotate through birth-suite and postnatal, with the opportunity to work in special care nursery, and develop your career to work in antenatal clinic and other specialised areas.

About you
As a Registered Midwife, your skills and experience will include:
- Current, condition-free registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant midwifery experience
- Strong commitment to providing excellent care
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Active engagement in continued professional and career development
