We are currently recruiting suitably qualified Registered Midwives who are looking for an exciting career opportunity in Albany, Western Australia!About the ROLEIn this role you will be responsible for the provision of high quality and consumer focused nursing using a wide range of nursing skills to care for a variety of patients as part of a supportive and passionate multidisciplinary team.This is a rewarding and interesting role where you will:

• Maintain appropriate skills and competence in the provision of evidence-based patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care delivery within the practice setting of maternity, newborn and general nursing including post-natal community assessment.
• Plan and facilitate midwifery / nursing activities and perform role of shift coordinator as required.
• Provide a high standard of nursing practice to ensure that appropriate clinical pathways, policies, and procedures are followed and adopting a risk management approach to patient care delivery.
