Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in rural and remote hospitals.
• Assess and prioritise patients' needs based on the severity of their condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families on health issues and preventive measures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adapt to varying healthcare settings and facilities during your travels.
• Embrace the challenges and rewards of working in remote and culturally diverse communities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing and AHPRA registration. 
• Minimum of 12 months experience.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Triage highly desirable.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to travel.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by rural and remote communities.
• A passion for adventure and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underserved communities.
• Ability to provide evidence of Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) including Covid-19 vaccination and Flu vaccination.
• Police check and Working with Children check (Ochre Card).
