Epilepsy Action Australia is the leading provider of epilepsy education and support services across Australia.
Our team is growing and we are currently looking to recruit a Registered Nurse with an interest or experience in Epilepsy .
We are a dedicated team who are passionate about assisting patients and families affected by epilepsy.
What will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will include:
Response to epilepsy-related client inquiries
In-depth needs assessments
Individual service planning and delivery
Provision of epilepsy product and service information
Patient education and training for professionals
Support of clients through periods of transition
What will you bring to the role?
Current APHRA Nurses’ Registration with no condition/restrictions
3 years of post-graduate experience
Strong attention to detail
Good organisation skills
Effective communication skills
Strong computer literacy and confident using new systems
Home office setup including stable internet connectivity (remote working option)
Experience in the fields of epilepsy, disability, general practice, community or school nursing desirable but not essential.
