As a Registered nurse you will:
- Conduct clinical and personal care duties, with a holistic approach to in-home patient care
- Provide clinical judgement, creativity and sensitivity to develop care plans that are aligned to the client’s assessed needs
- Monitor chronic and palliative conditions
- Assess wounds and attend to dressings as per the care plan
- Monitor and assist clients to use continents devices and change the IDC and SPC
- Assist with showering, bathing, shaving, dressing, toileting and denture care, and a range of other personal care duties
- Provide a high level of holistic care including social, emotional, spiritual support
We are looking for someone with:
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration, with a minimum 2 years practicing as an RN
- Experience in Aged Care and Community Home Care customer service skills is desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003/4) and current CPR certificate (HLTAID001)
- The right to work in Australia
- A current driver licence, registration and access to your own car with comprehensive car insurance
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain (myHomecare will organise via WorkPro at no cost)
- Current NDIS Clearance Check
