About our role- We care about others We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Aged & Disability Services team across the Illawarra and Macarthur region. You will be responsible for empowering employees and participants in the improvement of their overall well-being by educating individuals on issues of social, physical, cultural and environmental well-being. This role has a strong focus on early recognition and prompt intervention to assist individuals to achieve and maintain optimum levels of independence. This position offers great flexibility with full-time, part-time and casual hours available. This position is classified under the Nurses Award 2010. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review Health Plans, Care Plans and Advanced Health Care Plans. Demonstrated skills in educating and training individuals and teams in the provision of best practice clinical standards in a community setting. Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices as it relates to the new Aged Care Standards and the NDIS. Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and customer focused skills with the ability to engage and build trust and rapport with a diverse range of people. A driver's licence with an insured vehicle Employees are required to have received 3 doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine; or has been issued with a Medical Contraindication Certificate on the prescribed NSW Health form, exempting from vaccination.
