Form of workAspen Aged Healthcare, a business unit of the Aspen Medical Group, is seeking experienced and skilled Registered Nurses, Australia wide to join our existing team of clinical and non-clinical professionals. The roles are critical to support RACHs at short notice. This is a unique opportunity to work in a rapid response team environment and to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable Australians. With your help, we can ensure that Senior Australians continue to receive quality care.
This will be a fixed term, full time opportunity until June 30, 2025 meaning you will be paid even during down time!! Flights, accommodation and per diems are covered for you as well.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- providing nursing care in a safe, compassionate and person-centered approach to the residents of an Aged Care homes
- conducting resident assessments and preparation and reviews of care plans in consultation with the resident and relevant stakeholders
- admitting and assessing new residents, including the development of interim healthcare plans
- supporting residents and their family when dealing with resident clinical care needs
ensuring any clinical care needs are managed and communicated in a professional and timely manner - reporting of incidents that may occur at the facility which may impact resident care
- ensuring compliance with the national standards and Aspen Medical Governance Framework.
Experience, Qualifications and Documentation Required:
- full Australian work rights (We are unable to provide sponsorship)
- nursing qualifications
- minimum of 1 years of Post Graduate clinical experience
- current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no conditions, undertakings, or reprimands
- current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training
- two recent clinical referees
- clear police check and working with vulnerable people check or working with children check
- completion of the Department of Health "COVID-19 infection control training" module and other CPD as required by Aspen Aged Healthcare
- recent working experience in Aged Care.
