- Coordinate and oversee care activities.
- Set a professional example for our dedicated care team, leading, mentoring, teaching, and supervising Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Care Staff to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practices outlined in the Residential Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Collaborate with and support the Clinical Nurse and Clinical Manager in driving continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Foster strong relationships with medical and allied health professionals.
- Prepare to take on additional responsibilities when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- National Crime Check or willingness to obtain
- Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year post registration clinical experience, preferably in Aged Care or Acute Care
- Passionate about providing care, empathy, and support for elderly or vulnerable individuals.
- Proficiency in leading and overseeing a united team of healthcare professionals, cultivating a culture of collaboration, empathy, and support for both staff and residents.
- Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a dedication to precise and pertinent documentation.
- Dedicated to continuous internal and external education and development.
