Registered Nurse - Anaesthetic | Brisbane

Exciting opportunities exist for experienced Registered Nurses to join a perioperative team at a private hospital in Brisbane. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available with hours between 06:30 - 21:30 Monday to Friday.
ABOUT THE ROLE As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering safe, researched-based standards of nursing care;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care;
• Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
• Leading successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes;
• Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
• Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• At least 2 years of experience as an anaesthetic nurse;
• Compliance with ACSQHC National standards;
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.

ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in the South East of Brisbane, has 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit, and an ICU; the facility provides care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.
