AddressWe currently have an opportunity for a Part time Registered or Enrolled Nurse for a 12-month Maternity Leave contract based in Mackay.
Reporting to the Nursing Services Manager, you will be expected to provide the highest standard of service to both our patients and Radiologists during diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures in modalities such as Ultrasound, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine (Training for specialised procedures provided e.g., CT Coronary Angiograms and Cardiac perfusion scans.)
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Providing nursing care to our patients and assistance to technical staff and Radiologists during procedures
• Prepare, monitor, and oversee the recovery of patients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures, during and post procedure.
• Ensuring radiologist equipment is available, and that Workplace Health and Safety practices are always followed in the clinic.
ABOUT YOU
• Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with current APHRA Registration.
• IV Cannulation experience preferred.
• Advanced CPR Life Support preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with your amazing problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of medical professionals.
• Ability to work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently.
• Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial.

This permanent part-time position is offering 22.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday. Competitive rate and uniforms provided.
