As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Unit, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care within the Cardiac Unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
• Utilize your expertise to support and educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions and treatments

Preferred Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in cardiac nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Current registration with the relevant nursing authority
• Commitment to providing compassionate and holistic care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Certification in cardiac nursing or relevant specialty area
• Postgraduate qualifications in cardiac care (highly desirable)

Qualifications and Experience required

• AHPRA
• ANMAC (if overseas)
• Hold a relevant post-basic qualification or substantial experience in specialty or willing to work towards this
• ALS Competence
• At least 2 years of recent experience in this role. (If you are an overseas Nurse requiring 186 visa sponsorship, this is 3 years of recent experience in a comparable health system to Australia)
• Excellent Communication skills
• It is desirable that you hold a Postgraduate qualification in specialty, but. not essential
