The Specialist Palliative Care Service is based on the Long Jetty Health Care campus, and requires a dynamic and motivated Registered Nurse to provide care predominantly in the Community, but also in Wyong and Gosford Hospitals if required. A current Australian driver's license is a prerequisite. You will be working weekdays, usually 8.30am to 5.00pm. The position is for 3 days a week, these may be flexible or fixed. An ability to navigate eMR is helpful, or training can be provided. The successful candidate should have experience caring for palliative clients and their carers, and a strong understanding of individualised client-centred care. A solid orientation program is provided, where you will learn all aspects of the role. We are a small multi-disciplinary team who works collaboratively to support patients and families across the Central Coast.
