About the position:
We are seeking an experienced Haemodialysis Registered Nurse for a 12-week temporary contract available to work 8-hour shifts both morning and afternoon, Monday to Saturday. Work within a primary nursing care model for ongoing management of coordination of patient care within the satellite dialysis service.
- You will be required to undertake haemodialysis competencies on commencement of the position and at least biennially.
- You will work within the newest Dialysis Unit in the district based at The Maitland Hospital.
- You will be supported by a great team including speciality Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Educator, and Clinical Nurse Consultant.
- You will be working with a dynamic team who support each other and provide excellent care to their patients.
- You will be orientated to the unit as well as educated about the type of dialysis machines that are used.

Our new Maitland Hospital started welcoming patients in early 2022. Designed in consultation with clinical experts, the new $470 million building forms part of the State Government’s $10.8 billion funding program to improve health facilities right across New South Wales – and importantly, aims to meet the growing demands of the Hunter Valley community.
