Based in beautiful Kiama on the NSW south coast, our client is a highly reputable, leading provider of aged care and community care services.
An exciting opportunity has become available to join them in the position of Care Team Leader, leading a high performing Care Team whilst supporting clients in the community.
This is a permanent, part-time role, working 20-28 hours per week (Mon-Fri), with days and hours flexible.
As the Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that quality care and service is delivered to the organisation's home care clients. This will include supervising the home care support worker team and ensuring they are provided with clinical support and training throughout their employment.
What You'll Need:
- Current Division 1 Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Experience working within aged or disability care, or similar
- Previous experience in supervising or mentoring staff
- Strong understanding of clinical best practice in aged care
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Work, Health and Safety knowledge
- NSW Police Clearance
- Working With Children Check
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment would be desirable, but is not essential
