Applicants are sought for casual employment as a Registered Nurse in District Nursing. This role consists of care planning, promoting person centred care and support to clients and families at Beechworth Health Service.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
· Community Nursing experience-District Nursing/Hospital in the Home (HITH)
· Proven clinical skills in relation to assessment (inclusive of wound management), care planning, evaluating, referral coordination, promoting person centred care, advocacy and support to clients families/carers
· Palliative care experience
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
· High Level of reliability and professional conduct
· Demonstrated ability to utilise information and technology applications
· Demonstrated understanding of relevant Commonwealth and State funded programs and awareness of issues in delivery of community services in a rural and isolated areas and reporting requirements
