About the opportunity

We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated experienced Registered Psych nurses who would like to join our Mental Health team at Werribee Mercy Hospital (WMH) on a Casual basis to provide backfill for staff shortfalls and leave.

● To provide best practice patient care as a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary hospital team

● To provide backfill for staff shortfall and leave across all shifts as allocated

● Regularly accept and work a minimum of two (2) casual shifts per month

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

● Be registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

● Have a minimum of 2 years experience within a relevant area

● Be committed to the delivery of a high standard of person centered care.

● Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of best service user outcomes.

● Strong critical thinking skill and clinical knowledge with the ability to advocate for the service user.

● Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills.

● Ability to commit to at least 2 shifts per fortnight across a rotating roster.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

● A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
● Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
