Hobart Private Hospital Emergency Department is a 9-bed unit, open 24/7 in the centre of Hobart City, adjacent to the Royal Hobart Hospital. It provides 24/7 medical, nursing and clerical services. The team prioritise a friendly and welcoming workplace, with a caring and professional approach to patient centred care.

Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Vulnerable People Tasmania check
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Good clinical decision-making and problem solving skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, motivated and customer focused
- Proficient computer skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in Emergency Nursing (Desirable)
- Demonstrated experience working in emergency departments
- Advanced Life Support Certification
Triage Certification or Evidence of (if at the level for triage).
If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope - Tasmania - Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2021-2024, a salary ranging from $36.07 - $47.37 per hour
