SalaryAdvocate Medical Group are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our supportive and collaborative team. We have practices in several locations including Box Hill, Pakenham, Endeavour Hills, and Frankston South.
Advocate Medical Group is currently experiencing growth and are looking at increasing our nursing staff. Our nurses are empowered to support our GPs in caring for our patients. You will be supported to increase your skill levels and there are opportunities to lead and be part of various clinic initiatives.
Job description:.
Duties include
Triage
Wound care
Immunisations
Health Assessments & Care plans
Provision of appropriate information and education to patients
Adhere to RACGP 5th Edition standards and GPA Accreditation Requirements
Assist with minor procedures undertaken by the GP
COVID 19 Vaccinations
Other duties as directed
Essential selection criteria:
Current Nursing Registration with APHRA - Division 1
Experience in General Practice is highly desirable
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Understand principles of Medicare funding including Practice Incentive Program (PIP) and Service Incentive Payments (SIP)
Experience with CDM plans
Desirable selection criteria:
Experience using practice software ideally Best Practice
Experience using POLAR
Able to speak Mandarin (Box Hill location)
Description of practice/facilities:
