Form of workOur busy General Practice is located in Aitkenvale. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our friendly team of Professionals. This dynamic role will suit someone with previous experience in a General Practice, as it will primarily involve minor Procedures and Treatment Room duties, Adult & Childhood Vaccinations, Employment Medicals, Chronic Disease Care Planning and Comprehensive Health Assessments.
The successful candidate would be competent and have experience OR willingness to upskill in:
General Practice experience
Chronic Disease Management, Care Planning and Comprehensive Health Assessments
ECG's
Spirometry
Adult and Childhood Immunisations and Infusions
Cervical Screenings
Wound Care
Ordering and Stock take of consumables
Assisting Doctors with minor procedures
Assisting with recall and reminder systems
Cold Chain Management
Good computer skills, preferably with experience in Best Practice Software
Other important requirements are:
AHPRA Registration
Warm, friendly and approachable demeanour
Excellent communication and rapport building skills
Ability to maintain high professional work standards, including personal conduct and presentation
Good attention to detail and accuracy in performance of tasks
Priority regard for confidentiality across all business functions
Ability to adhere to established procedures, protocols and line management process
Capacity to work unsupervised and follow directives as required
Proactive and supportive team orientated approach
Ability to routinely multi-task and problem solve where required
