As a Registered Nurse with NBMLHD you will respond effectively to emergency situations, the changing status of patients/clients, clinical concerns,adverse events, critical incidents and complaints. At all times within your role you will act as an advocate to assist patients/clients, families and carers, make informed decisions in relation to their Health Care needs, treating them with respect and responding to their needs.This role will see you effectively communicate with patients, consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to ensure the provision of safe, compassionate quality care. - Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week.
