Our specialist team at the Marianne Morgan Centre for Oncology and Haematology work closely with Medical Oncologists and Haematologists to deliver personalised care, helping to achieve individual patient goals.
About You:
We are looking for a positive and eager Registered Nurse, experienced and passionate about cancer care to join our specialised team at the Marianne Morgan Centre for Oncology and Haematology on a part time basis, 16 hours per week, with the view to working additional shifts and covering colleagues' leave.
The successful applicant will have:
- 3+ years' experience in Oncology/Haematology
- Experience administering Cytotoxic chemotherapy and related cancer treatments, including ADAC chemotherapy competency
- Competency in PICC, PORT and IV Cannulation skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and contribute to the development of a high-performing team
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to communicate positively and to actively encourage a positive team culture and environment for patients and their families within a values-based organisation
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
