As an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) you will play a vital role in residential aged care service management, planning and delivery of services at mecwacare’s O’Mara House – a 67 bed facility. Supported by the Facility Manager, you will provide an evidence-based nursing care for residents in accordance with the developed care plan.

As an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) you will play a vital role in residential aged care service management, planning and delivery of services at mecwacare’s O’Mara House – a 67 bed facility. Supported by the Facility Manager, you will provide an evidence-based nursing care for residents in accordance with the developed care plan.
What you bring:
- Advanced clinical skills and a commitment to high quality care and services.
- Significant experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience working in an “In charge” capacity.
- Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Able to work all shifts including night shifts.
- Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centred approach to providing care and services.
- Working knowledge of Accreditation Standards, Aged Care funding and Aged Care legislation.
- High level leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- NDIS Check.
